Engineers, doctors, police officers and much more! There are many jobs in
this world that could interest me but the job that does interest me is interior
designing. There are many reasons for my liking of this career. Some of the
reasons involve being able to use a skill of art, helping people fulfill their dreams of
their homes and inspiration. This career, as well as all other careers, requires an
abundance of hard work and focus and I am determined to achieve this future goal.
Art. This is one of my first reasons I would love to have this career. I have always loved art as a small kid and now I am learning it. For me art comes naturally and I would love to use it in my everyday life. Not only will I learn more and more about it but I will also enjoy going to work every day. Art has been one of my great passions. When I grow older I want to take a course in art that will help me thrive in this career.
This leads to my second reason as to why I want my future career to be interior designing. That is inspiration! And believe it or not but that inspiration came from my TV. On TV there are many shows on the channel HGTV that have to do with interior designing and architecture. When I first started to watch these shows with my dad I thought they were very, very boring and that Disney channel was the only interesting channel in the world. But then as I watched those shows more and more I understood it and I started to take a liking to it. In this show they teach you how to match patterns and colors and other materials like tile, wood, carpet and much more. By watching these shows I’ve gained a lot of knowledge about interior designing. I hope this inspiration leads me a long way down my journey to this job.
Now for the very last reason and personally my favorite. That I can help
people. This is not the kind of help that you give when you are doing social work…but help in fulfilling people’s dreams. Now I am not only thinking of myself and my wishes but also about other people’s reveries. Everyone has a dream and imagining of a home that they would like to have. Whether it be having a charming kitchen to cook great meals or a marvelous family room with all the luxuries in the world. With my help I can make those dreams and imaginings come true and I will try my best to give them an affordable price. I hope I can fulfill the dreams of many in the future of this career.
Hopefully as I grow older I work harder and harder to get this career in the future. I also hope I put my best efforts so I can achieve this goal. Interior designing has been my dream job for as long as I can remember, and art, helping to satisfy dreams, and inspiration are the reasons why this has been my dream job.
Before I used to want to be a teacher or a fashion model or an artist but back
then I wasn’t really sure of what I wanted to be when I grew up. But now I do, interior designing here I come!!!
