As I leave 5th grade to leave for middle school I realize that I am going to miss Elementary school. It feels as if just yesterday I was in Kindergarten. While everybody else in my school is in a rush to go to middle school, I really just want to go back to 1st grade. You only get one shot at Elementary school, I hope that no matter how old I get I will always cherish the days I was young and in Elementary school. Every single 5th grader at Brooks Crossing Elementary school probably wants to go to middle school because that you get units, you have lockers, you get more independence, extra curricular, and so on. But I’m pretty sure that a couple days into 6th grade people are really going to realize that their time was good while they were at Elementary school. From experience I know that wondering about the future will just waste time in the present. When I was in Kindergarten all I could think about was going to 5th grade. Now I really just wish it were the opposite. Although Middle School is a change everybody wants to take, I just wish I could relive my time at Brooks Crossing Elementary school.
