Wake up at seven thirty, because you over slept
Panicked because of time,
So through the bedroom door you leapt
You jumped unsuccessfully,
Causing you to bruise
trudged yourself to the bathroom,
knowing you would lose,
because it was seven forty five,
and it was almost time for you to cruise.
Hastily looking for clothes,
you find the one that was anew,
which shrunk in the dryer,
and you weren’t very amused.
So you finally decide on your outfit,
combed your hair and all,
and that is when you face,
a hard, painful fall.
Triumphantly, you stand up,
running to the bus,
the bus leaves without you,
but you know you must keep going, you must.
So with all that’s left inside you,
you stand up proud and tall,
running like a maniac,
for time shall burn and fall
You open the door of the school,
happy to make it safe,
out comes the teacher,
“Mister, you’re very, very LATE!”
